Introducing DomUS® only DomUS can give you a contemporary design in a high performance timber window. the flexibility and quality of the DomUS system means that we can meet the toughest specifications without having to compromise your design. Used in projects with a high design and quality ethos, DomUS will bring a modern style to your project which is second to none.
One of the mainstays of the Rationel Windows and Doors product line-up, the DOMUS range remains as popular as ever with architects and specifiers looking for a combination of style, durability, and sustainability. All DOMUS windows and doors are made to measure, and can be fitted with a range of opening and closing styles. This gives a high level of design freedom which allows the creation of complex constructions such as curtain walling, screens, bays and oriels – all made to exact specifications
To keep the timber strong and healthy for years to come, we impregnate prior to jointing. To ensure high levels of sustainability we only use waterborne treatments. The finished windows and doors can then be painted in a choice of colours or stained to enhance the natural timber finish, again with water-borne products.
Quality, design and functionality are all important issues to Rationel - along with using sustainable solutions. We therefore use carefully selected FSC® certified timber, where a systematic replanting scheme is carried out to actually enlarge the forest rather than cutting it back. We get our timber from Northern European forests, where the tight cell structure ensures a high resistance to warping, splitting and bowing.
Only DOMUS can give you a contemporary design in a high performance all-timber window. The high quality windows and doors will give an elegant finish to your home, and make it shine.
DOMUS is a popular choice for modern newbuild residential building, and in renovation projects. The windows and doors are made-to-measure to match your home’s bespoke requirements.
