Founded in 1979 by Alan Nettleton, the father of our current Managing Director Martin Nettleton, Euroglaze is still a family business. We’ve gone from strength to strength over the last four and half decades.
We are proud to be REHAU’s longest servicing customer in the UK, our partnership with them since the early eighties continues to develop, introducing new products and designs. Liniar PVC-U system was added to our range in 2013 to give our customers an even wider choice of product options. We were one of the first trade fabricators to start manufacturing their ground-breaking Resurgence flush sash window in 2022.
Martin Nettleton took over the running of the business in 1999 after spending seven years with global electronics giant Canon. His vision has always been that Euroglaze should benchmark its quality, efficiency and customer service against the very best Blue Chip corporations in the UK and we operate a policy of continuous improvement designed to keep us at the very forefront of the window and door industry.
Over the years, Martin has instigated many positive changes, most recently adding two key members to the board as we plan for the next stage in our growth.
Glen Park is now our Operations Director and has long been the driving force behind our successful implementation of lean manufacturing techniques and philosophies. Emma Mitchell is our Finance Director and since her appointment in 2017, has overseen significant investment in a new factory alongside our existing one.
In both our factories, continual investment in the latest technologies means we deliver unrivalled quality and consistency. The percentage of our products which are rejected internally or externally is now less than 0.3% and we are striving to get this even lower! Investment in our workforce has also been a key factor. Many members of the team have been us for more than a decade and all have been trained in the Kanban and Kaizen manufacturing philosophies which underpin much of our success.
All of this means nothing though unless it is used to improve the experience of our customers.
