Euroglaze Keeps Ahead of the Game with Kaizen
11th April 2015
Euroglaze continues to put product and quality first for its customers by further training in Lean Manufacturing. The training encourages all employees to think outside their own tasks and consider ways to improve production techniques and efficiencies, promoting quality and right first time manufacturing.
The Production Teams have been studying and putting into practice various production theories first introduced to the UK from the forward thinking Japanese motor industries, such as 5S, Kanban, JIT, problem solving and Quality Circles. They are fully conversant in Kaizen, the theory that 'little changes on a regular basis leads to always improving productivity, safety and effectiveness whilst reducing waste.' This ultimately means a better, more cost effective product, and the ability to respond quickly to new demands and market trends as required by our customers. For more information regarding our range of support services for your business and our manufacturing facility please contact Euroglaze on 01226 702553.
