WER Documentation & Window Energy Ratings System
14th February 2013
Euroglaze are pleased to announce that our customers can have access to an automated WER Documentation system by logging into the customer login section.

As you know the BFRC Scheme is the UK's national system for rating the energy efficiency of windows and is recognised within the Building Regulations as a method to show compliance for your replacement windows installation.
With carbon emissions high on the global agenda and the current high cost of fuel, consumers are looking for ways to make their homes more energy efficient. When you get a product rated with the BFRC you will be given a unique label. As a Trade Customer we have a system which will do the WER Documentation process for you and relieve you of the administrative burden.
Euroglaze offer a WER Documentation System to our Trade Accounts as an added value service which automates the Window Energy Rating System. This label will display the following information:
- The rating level A, B, C, D, E, F & G
- The energy rating e.g. 4kWh/(m²·y) in this example the product will lose 4 kilowatt hours per square metre per year
- The window U value e.g. 1.5W/(m²·K)
- The effective heat loss due to air penetration as L e.g. 0.02 W/(m²·K)
- The solar heat gain e.g. g=0.41
For more information regarding the manufacture and supply to the Trade and our WER Documentation System please contact us by calling on 01226 702553 or click here to access our enquiry form.
