Luck Of The Draw

With the World Cup now well underway, there is a real buzz around Euroglaze, thanks partly to the fact that so many of the staff have joined our company sweepstake. From the office team to the factory floor and our delivery drivers, everyone is getting involved, adding a little bit more excitement to every match.

While we are pretty united in cheering on England and hoping the team finally bring it home, the luck of the draw means some of us have found ourselves taking a very keen interest in the likes of Cape Verde, Japan, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia - with every goal, point and result carrying that little extra significance!

It is all part of the fun though, bringing colleagues together through a bit of friendly competition and plenty of good natured banter. Just like football, success at Euroglaze is built on teamwork. Every department is focused on achieving great results and, as Thomas Tuchel says, while a talented squad is important, it’s unity, commitment and working together than can really make the difference.

So, while some of us might be secretly willing an underdog to cause an upset in the sweepstake, there is one thing (almost) everyone at Euroglaze is agreed upon - Come on England!
