Campus Corner in Nottingham city centre is a great showcase for our Rehau Heritage vertical slider expertise. The building, which was once a Victorian school has been transformed by developers Cross Country Partners into luxury university accommodation for almost 200 students at Nottingham’s universities.

Last summer, we fabricated 175 VSs for our customer Stylish Windows for installation in this impressive conversion project. Our customer service team worked closely with Stylish to coordinate with their four month installation programme and ensured that the frames were always ready on site as required.

Campus Corner, built towards the end of the Victorian era in 1885, was originally Radford Boulevard Board school. At the time, it featured timber vertical sliders throughout, but the building had stood empty since 2018 and any of the original windows remaining had become draughty and unusable.

Now they have been replaced with our high performance PVC-U vertical sliders in Rehau’s Heritage system. These replicate the authentic lines of the timber originals but meet all the very latest thermal efficiency, security and acoustic standards.

The Heritage vertical sliders ensure that Campus Corner retains its traditional Victorian aesthetic but without any compromises in comfort or safety for the students staying there, and with minimal maintenance requirements for the owners.

Alongside the VSs and, in line with our One Stop Shop offering, we also supplied Stylish with 40 Rehau casement windows for the project. All the frames were fabricated with our trademark precision quality and attention to detail – and all were delivered on time and with expert help and advice from our team.
