Euroglaze has begun fabricating the new REHAU AGILA fire door at its factory in Barnsley, and is now supplying to customers across the UK. Already an accredited manufacturer of the REHAU RAUFERNO fire rated window, Euroglaze is now offering a complete package of fire rated products to installers working on commercial projects where they are specified.

Euroglaze Adds Rehau Agila Fire Door To Extensice Range

Euroglaze’s technical and fabrication teams received training from REHAU in preparation for the manufacture of the new AGILA fire doors, and it has now been successfully integrated into the company’s lean manufacturing operation.

Martin Nettleton, Euroglaze’s Managing Director, first saw the potential of the new AGILA fire door at the FIT show back in April and was keen to start manufacturing as soon as the door had completed its accreditations to 30 minutes fire rating in both top and sidelight combinations.

He said: “We pride ourselves on providing the most complete range of REHAU products to our customers. Whether they want a Heritage vertical slider, a fully reversible window or now a fire rated door, installers know that they can order that from Euroglaze and enjoy the same manufacturing quality across the range and the same attention to detail all the way from order to despatch.”

The REHAU AGILA fire door utilises the design and security benefits of the REHAU TOTAL70 system but incorporates an intumescent strip which expands in heat to combine with the reinforcement and the door panel to create a fire rated barrier.

It is an affordable door system ideal for social housing and commercial projects and combines a 30 minute fire rating with all of the inherent benefits of PVC-U including thermal performance, low maintenance and high security.
