Founder and Chairman of Euroglaze Passes Away
10th October 2012
It is with great sadness that Euroglaze announce the death of founder and Chairman Alan Nettleton, Martin’s father, on Thursday 4th October 2012 after a short illness.
Always an entrepreneur, Alan was involved in a number of businesses in the 60’s and 70’s before establishing Euroglaze in 1979. Martin said," I’m obviously very sad at my Dad’s passing, he was an inspiration and I and the rest of his family love him very much and miss him dearly. I have been very touched by the extraordinary number of people, be they customers, suppliers or employees past or present, who have spoken so very warmly of Dad."
Alan, was always a larger than life character and he will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure to know him.
Alan Thomas Nettleton, 6th May 1937 – 4th October 2012
