Legoland is Childs Play for Euroglaze - 250 casement windows in the REHAU S706 Profile

17th May 2012

One of the most recent installations by REHAU fabricator Euroglaze quite literally turned out to be child's play for the Barnsley based trade and commercial specialist since it has just supplied all of the windows for the new Legoland Hotel in Windsor.

Euroglaze fabricated more than 250 casement windows in the REHAU S706 system for the 150 bedroom hotel as well as a number of screens, some with arched tops, for the bar and restaurant areas.

REHAU windows were specified for the showcase project by architects Allison Pike because of the proven long term performance and durability of the system; and Euroglaze was chosen by main contractors Speymill Contracts on the basis of its quality and commercial expertise.

Euroglaze has successfully implemented some of the most advanced manufacturing processes at its Barnsley factory designed to deliver class leading levels of quality and efficiency. This includes lean manufacturing, quality circles and Kanban techniques.

Manufacturing around 800 frames per week, the business, which has been established since 1979, supplies trade and commercial customers nationwide.

The Legoland hotel, complete with Pirate, Adventure and Kingdom themed rooms, a Lego pirate themed indoor water play area, an indoor treasure trail and interactive Lego features, weas opended in March 2012.
